“The difference between the right word and the almost right word is really a large matter — it’s the difference between lightning and a lightning bug”
Mark Twain
Even the simplest word can make a world of difference
this is the motto I believe in at Parole Ritrovate – Where Words Matter.
During my MA studies (2021-23), I have shown the ability to handle complex texts written by experts across a broad range of specialisms; these include documents in areas focusing on literary, academic, technical and scientific fields. I am also a very keen subtitle creator and having completed an UCL summer course in subtitling, I intend to become Ooona certified next.
As a translator, I have a well-rounded skill set in creative writing and have developed talents in MT post-editing, revision, and transcreation skills for the English-Italian language pair, but I can also translate technical texts from French or Portuguese into Italian or English.
For my credentials and for more details, please see my Projects and Books.
